    Hello,

I use TranslatePress to have a multilingual website. I managed to translate it, but I can’t find where to translate the content of emails created with email builder. Can you enlighten me please ?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello, Enjin,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Please read this topic – https://www.8theme.com/topic/built-in-email-builder-wpml/ There is an option that allows sending different templates to customers from different countries.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello,

Yes I did read that, however like more and more users we now use TranslatePress (more efficient and simple than WPML, not mentioning the better performance). How can I translate them with this module ?

    Best regards

    Hello, Enjin,

    Thank you for your response.

There is an option that allows sending different templates to customers from different countries.
It is “Apply to billing countries” in the rules section in the right side of email template. You can create multi templates then change email contents with these respective country languages, then apply to send to countries using that language.
For example, Email Hungarian will be applied for country billing in Hungary, Slovak email will be applied for Slovakia. You can see this image: https://prnt.sc/vibvha and https://prnt.sc/vibxk0

    Hello,

I see, but this is quite a complicated solution… Billing countries and languages are two different things, a french person can live in the UK and still speak french.
Furthermore, it would mean I should create one template for french language and then another with all possible countries ? that is quite suprising and not a very easy solution…
It’s a problem because right now, the default woocommerce templates seem more suitable for translation than email builder templates.
There is no way to translate email strings ?

    Best regards

    Hello, Enjin,

    Thank you for your response.

Please post your request on our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. If it receives enough votes from other customers, our development team will consider adding improvements in one of the upcoming updates. You have a few XStore licenses, do not forget to mention it in your request.
There is no other (ready) solution right now, unfortunately.

Email builder templates can be imported/exported – https://prnt.sc/pmtoHcPDRnIf , so there is no need to create it from scratch every time.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
