Sorry, this might be a silly question, but I’ve downloaded the latest theme update, but don’t appear to have an ‘8theme Options > Update theme’ option as mentioned in your documentation. How can I update the theme with the zip file that I have downloaded?

please update theme via FTP as described in this part of documentation:

Thanks, that worked a treat. I was trying to avoid FTP, as my ftp link never seems very reliable. Has the upgrade option been permanently removed from the menu?

Yes, it was removed as the best way to update the theme is via FTP to avoid any issues.

Whilst on the subject of updates. What’s the best way to update the bundled plugins? The auto-updates don’t seem to work as they don’t recognise the licence code for your theme. Do I have to delete each one and reinstall? And if so, will I lose any data related to any plugins??

Hellobarronpj67,

you can download all required plugins at our Downloads section: https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
After that, please create backup of your ‘plugins’ folder and update them with overwriting via FTP.
