Html5 video on Revolution Slider don't work on Safari

Hi,

the Html5 video layer on Revolution Slider don’t work on Safari.
It is ok on Chrome or others navigator, but never on Safari. I have uploaded all files formats (ogg, webm, mp4), but I just see the background image…
As I saw on internet, many persons have that issue, but nobody said something about a solution.

Could you please see why it’s not working ?
It seems like there is a special code for html5 video on Safari, and seems like also it’s not included on the slider.

Hello,

Does the issue persist with default WordPress theme or just with our theme?
Please check it.

Seems like with your theme and revolution slider.
I have the same plugin on an other page I have (you can check here : sylvaing.net-2-sky.com) and it’s working on all navigators.
But on your royal theme, the video html5 layer on Revolution is not working on Safari … and I tested with loop, without loop, etc… still the same!
Could you please check and see why ?
It’s urgent and important for my client.

Hi,

could I have an update on this issue? It’s really embarassing for my client, as many peoples use Safari on Macintosh….
I saw on other forums and topics that there is a special code to add for Safari for the html5 video.Seems like you didn’t added that code on your theme.

Hello,

Could you tell us what version of Safari do you use? We have checked in 7.0, 8.0 and now video is playing fine. We have updated Revolution Slider to latest version.

But I didn’t had the notification for the update of the Revolution slider….
Seems like the automatic update doesn’t work…
Could you please send me the latest version of Revolution slider ?

Also, I saw that i have the version 3.4.6 of Ultimates Addon for Visual composer, and there is the version 3.6.1… And I cant’ have it. He said to “activate my licence” but you have to do it, as we don’t have the serial for the licence …

Please give us the latest versions of the plugins we use on your theme.

Hello,

You can find the latest versions of plugins in the new theme package http://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976 , extract the archive and the plugins are located in royal/framework/plugins directory.
