Hi,

When I insert a custom HTML widget in the footer, the hyperlink is not functional. Why is that? I want to put the links to the privacy page and terms/conditions there.

Hello,

Please provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can take a closer look at your content of the HTML widget.
Please watch this video – https://youtu.be/gY-x4m47Duo , you can use a static block to create Footer, then it can be edited using WPBakery Page Builder https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/wpbakery-page-builder/

As I can see, you selected a custom footer for the home page and made it fixed – http://prntscr.com/rgpqje, but there is a bug with this fixed option and the Boxed layout of the site. I’ve sent a report to our developers, they will check it more deeply from Monday. As a temporary solution, I’ve disabled fixed footer http://prntscr.com/rgpsaw , please check now – http://prntscr.com/rgpsg2
