    Dear support
I’ve installed Xstore into an staging site but I am not able to translate this string

I’ve tried installing the xstore-es_MX.po file (converting first in xstore-es_ES.po) and it works but the mentioned string remains in English

IMHO, you’ve forgotten this string to be translated. Is it so?
If not please tell me how to translate it.
    Thanks

    Hello,

Use Loco translate plugin to translate missing strings, for example, http://prntscr.com/fpk1c2
Also, if you update theme you need to use Sync button to synchronize translation file with updated pot file.

    Regards

    Hi Olga
I am trying to do the same in a clone site but I am not able.
(I am newbie with Loco since I’ve always used POedit)
Could you explain me step by step how you did?
With your way, wouldn’t be missing some strings to be translated?
I wonder that because in the site you’ve worked there are 489 pending strings (56% translated), instead in the new site says 0 pending strings (100% translated)
    Looking forward to your comments
    Regards

    Hello,

If you prefer PoEdit then you need to download po file to your local machine and update file from pot http://prntscr.com/forqqi and use pot file from the latest version. Very likely you have updated theme but did not update translations.
After that make sure that return to prev page is translated after update from pot file.

Nop. This wouldn’t be working. I’ve followed your instructions but no luck.
In order be sure I am doing well, I’ve translated another string in my .po file for example “My Account” and I can see that if I enter an spanish text, this is displayed correctly in the front-end. However, when I change “Return to Previous Page”, this string remains equal.
Could you explainme step by step how I should do it using Loco as You’ve done?
This string is being rebel with me.

    Hello,

If you update theme some strings change its location (for example if we made changes in breadcrumbs and that translation is not at the 345 line but on 405) and old translation file does not work for this string. So you need to update your translation according to new changes, update from pot file.
So, you need to make sure that you placed translation files into correct place – wp-content/langugaes/themes, with the correct name. Also, you need to make sure that you don’t have any other theme translation files in any other places, check if pot file in in wp-content/themes/xstore/languages and then you can use synchronization option of Loco Translate plugin.

If it still does not work for you, please, provide me access (Dashboard + FTP) to site where you need to update translation and I’ll do it for you.

    Regards

I have replaced xstore.pot file by file from the latest version. After that I just pressed Sync button http://prntscr.com/g3iiod And checked if the necessary string is translated. That’s all.
