I cannot get my Instagram feed to show in my Footer using API access token.

    I have followed your instructions for creating and applying API access code thoroughly and multiple times. On the backend of my site everything works and seems successful however, I keep getting this error on the front end:

    Error: Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.

    Please help!!!

    Hello, Intermarket Guest Amenities,

    We would like to inform you about META’s security policy. Please note that generated keys are valid for no more than 60 days. Additionally, if the password is changed or the “Log out of all applications” function is used, the keys will become invalid, and it will be necessary to generate new ones.

    Hi guys,
    As per my email…. yes I know and understand that tokens last only 60 days. My last one expired so I have to do a new one.
    I have not changed my password. I have not “Log out of all applications”.
    But still, I get error message: Error: Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.

    Please help!!

    We have reviewed the issue, and it appears that the error message you are encountering, “Error: Unsupported request – method type: GET,” may be caused by a different problem.

    The error could be due to missing permissions on your Instagram account or a mismatch between the Source ID and the authenticated source for the Access Token. Additionally, changes to settings on Instagram or Facebook could also be contributing factors. Below are some potential causes:

    – Changes to the admin users of the associated Facebook page
    – Password changes for the Instagram or Facebook account
    – Modifications to privacy settings on either Instagram or Facebook
    – Adjustments to app permissions for Instagram or Facebook

    Another possible reason for this issue could be WordPress itself blocking GET requests. To investigate this further, we would require your FTP access details.

    We kindly ask you to add the access token currently used on the live site to the staging site, or alternatively, create a new token. At the moment, there is an error indicating a missing or invalid token or API.

    Error message:
    Error validating access token: The user has not authorized application.

    Hi Guys, with respect… have you read this thread?
    I have told you that this is EXACTLY what I have done and the reason I am creating this topic is because IT IS NOT WORKING. The EXACT instructions do not work, which is why I have sent you login details so you can see what is going on as I cannot figure it out. I have followed these instructions a number of times, but still it does not work.
    Please help. Otherwise I’ll simply start a new topic asking the exact same question.

    This is what I said in first message:

    Thank you for your response. I have followed these details explicitly but I still get this error message:

    Note my IG account is a business account.
