I can't select the text on my page - by Marek

Why can’t I select text on my page?
I need this option because on my part users are copying e.g. lyrics … At this moment it doesn’t work.
What should I do? URGENT!!!

The problem has been around for several days – before it was ok.

Hello,

Be default, text can be selected, you can check any of our demos.
Try to disable all the third-party plugins, that do not come bundled with our theme, and check how it works then.

Unfortunately, disabling plugins did not help. The problem persists.

Do you use child theme? Do you have this problem when parent theme is activated?

I noticed that I can’t tick but … it really ticks. I did such an experiment and it turned out that I copied the text without a problem.

The problem is that this selection is not visible and users may think that the text cannot be selected.

What should I do to see what I mark?

Hello,

We’ll fix the bug with the color in the next theme update. To fix it immediately on your site add the following code to ThemeOptions > Custom CSS
```
::selection {
    background:  #dddddd;
}
```
