We are a store similar to B2B inquiries. So we don’t need a checkout page and a shopping cart button. How should I turn them off or change the button jump link? grateful.

    Hi @Jet,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

It would require the customization codes.

Please note that additional customization falls beyond the purview of our standard support services.

If you require further customizations, we kindly invite you to submit a request via our customization panel at this link: https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel. Be advised that customization services are subject to additional fees.

We appreciate your understanding and are here to support you.

    Warm regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello Luca,

I was planning on opening a similar ticket regarding theme functionality for B2B websites, but I decided to piggyback on this one because the topic is relatable.

The Xstore theme is vibrant with features, resulting in massive amounts of scripts. Does Xstore have a documented set of customization codes to disable some of these scripts and an overview of what is relevant? Can you share those customization codes with us?

Furthermore, does it make sense for 8Theme to cater to the B2B market in terms of developing a ‘b2b-version’ (i.e. lighter version) of the store theme?

    Cheers,
    Bas

    Dear Bas Kling,

We hope this message finds you well.

As of now, we do not have a plan in place for a lighter version tailored for the B2B market.

Regarding your inquiry about disabling the Cart & Checkout functions, I recommend reviewing the following article which provides a detailed guide on how to achieve this: [Disable Cart and Checkout in WooCommerce](https://www.cozmoslabs.com/2877237-woocommerce-disable-cart-and-checkout/#:~:text=Just%20go%20to%20Plugins%20%E2%86%92,Settings%20%E2%86%92%20Disable%20cart%20page).

We hope you find this information useful. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello Luca,

    Thanks for the documentation.
One follow-up question: is it possible to add specific conditions to the header and footer for user roles? This way, I could use a 3rd party B2B plugin to add B@B roles and change the look & feel of the website for them accordingly.

It would prevent the need for a completely new B2B multisite setup using the same product database.

    Hi @Bas Kling,

is it possible to add specific conditions to the header and footer for user roles?

Unfortunately, it’s not possible. You can only show/hide a whole section of header for Logged In/Logged Out Users:

You can also take a look at the 3rd party plugin: https://theplusaddons.com/docs/set-elementor-display-condition-based-on-login-status/.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi Luca,

    I understand, thank you.

Is 8theme planning on doing ANY development specific to B2B functionality in the Xstore theme in the (very near) future?
When we’re not able to successfully incorporate B2B-specific functions into our existing xstore B2C platform, this is a major setback for us.
We’ve already posted a feature request, but experience tells us it can take a while for something like this to get picked up unless the development team it is of great value in general.
