I get a message to update xstore core theme

Hi,
Please help, I’m getting so confused, I have XStore Core 4.16, it required an update and I updated and then I get this message, see link below:

It’s telling me I must update to 8.16 but I recently purchased the update only to discover it was the XStore theme and not the child theme. I need to stick to the child theme otherwise my website headers get messed up. What do I do, I’m very confused about the main and the child them. I don’t mind if I have to purchase an update to the child theme but I can’t used the main theme because I recently tried and it messes up menus. Please can somebody explain what I need to do and why I’m getting this message.

Hello,

1) You don’t need to purchase any updates. If you bought a theme license then you have access to all theme updates.

2) You need to update the parent theme, not the child theme. So, follow the video tutorial and just update parent theme https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
