    PLEASE READ UNTIL THE END.

    Good afternoon.

I do not even know where to start …

A year ago I bought your Woopress theme.

I created a child-theme to make all the configuration changes.

You helped me make some configurations. The most importants were:

    – See arrows in the products’ carousele on the mobile because they did not come out:

    https://www.8theme.com/topic/arrows-dont-appear-on-mobile-version/

    – Configure the correct visualization of the images in the product variations, since the plugins that I had purchased to visualize them, did not work without your configuration:

    https://www.8theme.com/topic/big-problem-with-the-variation-images-in-my-product/

    – To change the color of the links to my products:

    https://www.8theme.com/topic/products-links-customization/

Everything seemed to be going well and I almost had my web site finished.

The woocommerce update came out, and I carried it out.

Then, I realized that the arrows were not coming out on the mobile anymore.

I realized too, that the images were again unconfigured with in the variation images.

The color of the links to the products was still black (we never got to see it red on any computer)

And after a few days, not even the products carousel appeared visiting the page as an external user. (You answered that you did see it well, but we have tested on all possible computers, and they are not visible: https://www.8theme.com/topic/where-are-my-products/)

Then, in Appearance-themes, “Woopress-child theme” disappeared, leaving only “Woopress theme” as an option, and giving me the following messages:

    “Damaged topics
The following topics were installed but are incomplete.
    Name: woopress-child
Description: The template is not available. Themes need an index.php template file. The child Themes need a template header in the style sheet style.css ”

“Your theme (WooPress-child – 8theme WordPress theme) contains obsolete copies of some WooCommerce template files. You may have to update these files to ensure that they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to solve this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If there is no update available, contact the author of your topic to ask about compatibility with the current version of WooCommerce.
If you have copied over a template file to change something, then you will have to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again”

    “Name: WooPress-child – 8theme WordPress theme
    Version: 4.4
    Author URL: http://themeforest.net/user/8theme
Theme child: – If you are modifying WooCommerce in a parent theme that you have not created personally, we recommend you use a child theme. See: How to create a child theme
    Compatible with WooCommerce: Not declared

    The version 3.3.2 of woopress-child / woocommerce / single-product / product-image.php is obsolete. The kernel version is 3.5.0,
    woopress-child / woocommerce / single-product / product-thumbnails.php”

My Hosting has managed to re-select the “Woopress-child theme”, and we were waiting for the Woopress update to see if afterwards, everything was going well.

Last week you took out the Woopress update, and I’ve done it today.

But when I activate Woopress-child, my page is simply blank and in my wordpress control panel the same error messages continue.

    The following errors also appear:

“The critical CSS for front_page could not be generated. Error: The following URL is unreachable: [400] https://www.rincondesilencio.com/
The critical CSS for home could not be generated. Error: The following URL is unreachable: [400] https://www.rincondesilencio.com/blog/

The critical CSS could not be generated for product_tag. Error: The following URL is unreachable: [400] https://www.rincondesilencio.com/etiqueta-producto/yute/”

Another thing that I have detected, is that the “menus” option of “appearance” disappears
when I have activated the child theme (does not happen in woopress father)

I give you the keys to access both my wordpress and my FTP system. At this time I have left the Child-theme active.

Please, I beg you to solve the problem … I was ready to launch my page.

If I have to pay an extra for the support service, I’ll pay it.

But I need everything to be right again so I can start selling my products. I have everything ready and we are waiting for the page to be correct to launch it …

    Ana.

    Hello,

You provided access to some cPanel but not to FTP. Please, provide me access to your FTP (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password) and we’ll check.

    Regards

    Your’re right, Sorry!!

I send you the FTP acces data.

Surely it indicates to you that “the connection is not private”.

Just click on “advanced settings” and click on “access to 3759 ….”

Then you can put the username and password.

    Thanks!!

    Hello!

I’m more calm! Almost everything has returned to normaly, but we continue with this problem:

    https://www.8theme.com/topic/where-are-my-products/

We have tested it on different computers and when we access

    https: http://www.rincondesilencio.com

the products we have established with “etheme_products” have not yet appear.

Not even when we create new pages using etheme_products do the products appear.

I could read in the forum that the same thing happened to a user of another theme. And you have answered the following:

    https://www.8theme.com/topic/something-strange-happened-carousel-and-various-other-things-disappeared/

Could the same thing be happening with my products?

    Hello,

Do you use server cache (Nginx cache)? Try to clear it. Because I have duplicated the home page (https://…../test-page/ ) and it looks ok, you can check. At the same time, the home page looks broken, so I suppose it’s some server cache.

Olga … I don’t understand anything but suddenly, without having cleared the server cache, I see it well.

Well, better not ask questions. I think this has a life of its own, or a goblin who is having a great time with my nerves and my joys.

Thank you very, very much for your quick solution and your involvement.

Colloquially, in Spain when someone is great in something, we say “you are a crack”

    And you are authentic cracks!
