Hi,
The white labeling plugin only helps hide theme name until child theme name. However, in 3 instances its clearly visible. (I know there are many other ways, but these 3 are my major concern).
Situation #1: using developer tools in browser to view “inspect Element”.
This has been resolved by me by using a premium plugin called WP Content Shield Pro. where it hides all the codes.
Situation #2: using wp theme detector website such as https://www.wpthemedetector.com, https://whatwpthemeisthat.com/, etc tec.
Can you please help me suggest a proven compatible plguin that works well with your theme? If you cannot suggest any plugin, can you suggest any alternative way to hdide it or can you tell me how to do the last Situation#3.
Situation #3: if someone inspects the frontend & goes to “Sources” its completely visible which theme has been used.
Can you please rename the main theme name from xstore to something else of my client’s choice?
This is very very important for my client. Can you help me change this directory name that reflects in the frontend as shown in the screenshot link.

Okay, I got it. Thank you.
Would this work:
I will rename the folder name & update style.css respectively.
But whenever there is an update, I will revert the name to its original name and later once it’s updated, I will rename it back. Will this work?
(I understand it’s not advisable, but just wanted to be sure whether it will work if I do it this way.)
Hello, N Nandan,
We have not checked this as it was not necessary for us to do so. However, we are confident that some customers have done it, so you are able to do it as well (you have already read the information about the cons). You can try to do this manipulation on your local/test websites and see if it meets all your needs.
About updating the theme – yes, you will not be able to give automatically update of the theme because of the renaming steps but even when you update the theme manually you should make renaming again each time.
