change the default language to Spanish and yet there are sections that do not translate correctly. for example , search the navbar right , still in English . the read more button is still in English, and modify it directly in \ themes \ woopress \ content – grid.php file on line 95 .
Also perform this action and nothing
add this code in wp -config.php file:
$ Locale = ‘ es_LA ‘ ;
Replace ” es_LA ” it’s my language prefix.
What I can do?
Hello,
Please provide FTP credentials.

sorry the delay, FTP credentials.
Hello,
As I see you haven’t translated default files in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/languages. There are only default.po/.mo files, but no your files es_ES.po/.mo. Please read our documentation how to translate the theme https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/2_how_to_translate .
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
change the default language to Spanish in po./mo files. in the directory wp -content / themes / woopress / languages .
I explained above that already perform as indicated in the documentation and had no effect . in fact if you enter the page sk-alimentos.com are some things in Spanish and others in English
Hello,
I see the files are still named like default.po and default.mo http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/16/0519/h_1463666883_7587730_9b56b55519.jpeg , but you should translate them and save with your language prefix.
Also as I see you used language prefix es_ES for Woocommerce translation files, so in the theme you should also name the files es_ES.po and es_ES.mo.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
ok , and perform the translation as indicated in the documentation, but now my wordpress backend is in English , and the online store filters products is in English , additionally icon shopping site has of title Recently added item ( s ) and the other in Spanish .
when I define the backend Spanish language does not take it defaults to the English .
Hello,
You named the files es_LA.po and es_LA.mo, but I told you to name them as es_ES.po and es_ES.mo. And write this code in wp-config.php file:
$locale='es_ES';
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
It means that I must put the two above As indicated?
Hello,
No, you should use only one locale for all files. In wp-content/languages you have files named es_ES.po and es_ES.mo that are used for WordPress translation.
So the same locale should be in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/languages and add this code in wp-config.php file:
$locale='es_ES';
and remove this code $locale='es_LA';
if you added it.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Ok, make the change , still remains the same
Hello,
You made changes incorrectly.
You moved es_ES.po/es_ES.mo files from wp-content/languages to wp-content/themes/woopress/languages. You must rename default.po/default.mo in wp-content/themes/woopress/languages to es_ES.po/es_ES.mo.
We can’t make any changes on your server because of the error:
Network error: Software caused connection abort
and your server breaks the connection.
So please make those changes yourself.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I think this time you perform correctly, however as you can see there are some things that are still in English
Hello,
Please try to update translation files in wp-content/themes/woopress/languages directory as described here http://betterwp.net/wordpress-tips/create-pot-file-using-poedit./ (section “Updating a .po (and .mo) file”).
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
