It has been over 20 days (almost a month) since I asked about when IDStore will support WooCommerce 2.1.9. There are some template conflicts. Your response on Themeforest was ‘ask in our support forums’ so here I am.
PLEASE GIVE ME A PROPER ANSWER WITH A CLEAR TIMELINE!
Hello,
We’re sorry for a delay with the reply.
Could you please provide us with FTP and admin panel credentials in Private Content?
Also please specify what conflicts you are experiencing with the templates.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
Try this – setup a FRESH install for WordPress. Install WooCommerce plugin (2.1.11 currently) and then activate the LATEST idStore theme (3.4 currently). This is the immediate warning I get:
Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.
I don’t know which templates these are. However, your team needs to update SOMETHING somewhere to make it compatible with WooCommerce and make sure your customers don’t fear updating their themes.
Please take action and respond.
Thanks.
I believe the issue is that idStore bundles pretty much every single template that comes with WooCommerce in its theme. As such, every new release of WooCommerce that updates templates is going to cause some template to get outdated in your theme. However, as an end user, I should NOT be the one having to investigate these issues. Your team is supposed to ensure compatibility before release and/or update the theme within days of a WooCommerce release to ensure compatibility.
For example, currently, WooCommerce system status shows
review-order.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.1.8,
Hello,
We’re very sorry for such troubles, but this bug should be fixed in our future update.
Meanwhile you can resolve this problem copying the file review-order.php from plugins/woocommerce/templates/checkout to themes/idstore/woocommerce/checkout to overwrite the old file.

Eva Kemp.
Errors are still listed in admin.
It’s been three months since last theme update. Please update soon so I don’t have to guess which files are customized.
Please remove all non-customized woocommerce files from your theme files to fix current errors and prevent future errors.

Hello,
If you want you can provide us with FTP and wp-admin credentials in Private Content and we’ll fix the issue.
Regards,
Jack Richardson
Ideally for future compatibility I would want all non customized files removed or a list of customized files so I can remove the rest from /idstore/woocommerce/
I’ll send you ftp to the dev site copy.
Hello,
Please check Woocommerce system status now. If there are still some errors please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
