Hello 8Theme community and support team
Im experiencing the weirdest issue so far in a wordpress theme
From the shop page, if clicking on the Spotlight Categories, I can navigate the different categories fine, all images fine.
But if i use the categories on the Shop Sidebar, suddenly the product images are gone.
They re appear upon page refresh or clicking on the Spotlight Categories but are gone again if I use any of the sidebar categories
Has anyone encountered this issue ?
Thanks
Alain

After downgrading to 8.1 by customer support the issue persist, but only when W3 cache plugin is active even if is caching is disabled
the images that dissapear their link becomes this nonesense:
instead of pointing to the domain
I noticed the global setting at Speed Optimization was set to default with this behavior
When set to Lazy or LQIP the image dissapearing glitch is gone and the categories now work ( while W3 cache plugin is still active )
The image link is now
Im not capable of fully tracing the problem but this looks like a weird interaction between the XSTORE Speed optimization setting of the theme on DEFAULT, and the W3 Cache Plugin
So far when setting the Image loading setting on Lazy or LQIP mas the glitch go away and images show when clicking on the sidebar categories at the product page
Please let me know what else I can provide to troubleshoot this
Thanks for looking into this
Hello, @Budeva,
Thank you for your prompt response.
1/ We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to access the backend of your website as the wp-admin credentials previously provided are not functioning.
2/ Upon reviewing your website, we have observed that the product images in .jpg format are displaying correctly. However, there appears to be an issue with images in .webp format.
We kindly suggest that you re-upload the product images in .jpg format and verify if this resolves the issue.
Should the problem persist, please provide updated wp-admin access credentials in the private content area. This will enable us to further investigate and assist you in resolving the issue.
We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Re-uploading doesnt solve the issue
I can confirm this is a interaction issue between XSTORE Speed optimization setting of the theme on DEFAULT, and the W3 Cache Plugin.
When the Xstore Speed optimization is set to Lazy or LQIP the issue goes away with and without the W3 Cache Plugin active.
This will be the solution for now. hopefully in future updates you guys will fix the code behind the issue
We can close this ticket for now as the solution I found solves the problem for now:
Xstore Speed optimization is must be set to Lazy or LQIP for the theme to run properly.
Please let me know if there is any data you need for your programmers to work with
Thanks for your help
