Hi there we have been getting a similar issue to some of the other people on here with our woocommerce shop thumbnails not aligned and cropped correctly. I see that it was a known issue and was fixed with the latest update but for us it’s still there, hoping you guys can have a look for us as our client is currently showcasing her site to customers on a promotion and the image issue does not look good. thanks
Hello, @cabwebdesign,
Please try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that does not come bundled with XStore https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ , clear the cache of the browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is the reason for the problem.
And if the issue will still persist then please remain all the third-party plugins deactivated on your site and provide me the permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third-party plugins and on-site Customization as well so that I will check and assist you accordingly.
I also need your site WP Admin Login Credentials as well as listed in the below-listed format in the private content area of this topic.

Hey guys
Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay. We have had major problems with the website as it was mistakenly built on WordPress.com and not .org
We are actually in the process of testing a copy on .org using our siteground test domain.
We have decided to use this to also test for the image issue as we can’t just leave the live site with deactivated plugins so we can test as much as we like with the test site
Kind regards
Craig
Ok good news managed to fix the settings issue by importing the Xstore import and export file
It looks like the image cropping issue has also been fixed, not sure how and will do a full run through today to make sure everything is ok
thanks
Craig
The only issue I can see now is that some of the product images are missing on some of the products, any idea how to fix this? Thanks
Hello, @cabwebdesign,
I have disabled the option “Lazy Load” from the XSTORE >> Theme Settings >> Speed Optimization and your issue is resolved. I have made a video for you, please watch it complete for a better reference to understand: https://streamable.com/6w61kb then check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

Hey there Awais
Thanks so much for that, looks like thats fixed the issue 🙂
Hello, @Cabwebdesign,
Is there anything else we can help you with?
Regards
Hey guys i just disabled the lazy loading on our live site as you did on the test site . it seems to have worked for some images not not for others, you can see on the video here –
First image on hover now shows the 2nd image zoomed which is great but then the next one shows the 2nd image unzoomed
sure it’s an easy fix but im stumped, lol
Thanks
Hello, @Cabwebdesign,
Actually, the images are not zoomed it just shows the second image on hover nothing else. The images you are using for the products are not the same size you used different size images for products and by default, WooCommerce compress the image sizes so that’s why the images look cropped or zoomed on hover. Like this I show you in the video: https://streamable.com/huqv6b If you open the hover image on a new tab of the browser you will see the image then you will understand that the image is not zoomed it just shows the next image of the product you added. To set the images to appear complete without cropping kindly use the same size images on all the products for a good user experience.

Thanks for the reply, so what was happening before was the second image on some of the products is wider to accommodate more products (larger gift basket) this was set up to be zoomed on hover of the thumbnail so the sides were cut off, meaning hover between image 1 and images 2 thumbnail had no aspect ratio change. some of them are working correctly – good example is this one this one https://creativegiftbaskets.co.nz/product/a-man-of-style/
This one is working correctly the 2nd image is cropped for the thumbnail but when you click on the product we get the actual uncropped image – see video – https://www.loom.com/share/2f157c89e7ee4fd7b28feb5e9ea6aece
Some are fine but others are not, they were all working correctly before not sure if it was an update that caused this or not but i did see there were a few other people having the same issue on the support thread
Thanks
Craig
Hello, @Cabwebdesign,
Thanks for the video, I understood what you are trying to say. The thing is, as you know product image on the single product page has a different size and then the product image on the product archive page has a different size so you cannot compare both images with each other. I don’t know after the update what changes you have made on the site so that’s the issue that started appearing. But to fix this as I said that you have to use the same size product images on your site. Find a picture on a product that appears fine check the size of it and then try to use the same size images on the products.
Furthermore, In the XSTORE >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Product Images there is an option to set the product image sizes you can also check this option: https://postimg.cc/t7dJqh8Z

Funny thing i just checked the page and it all seems to be ok now – https://www.loom.com/share/0ae367d9d52f4450b7890f07feb141db
Hello, @Cabwebdesign,
Sound’s Good!! 🙂 It might be the cache issue only.
So it means your issue is resolved now?
