Image Gallery Customisation / Single Product Page Gallery Error

When I try to change the layout of the image gallery (single product page) it does not change, it just keeps the 2 column gallery as shown in the image. I have deactivated all other plugins, the site is a fresh install too. I have also deleted the theme (and all settings and content etc) and re-imported fresh but I still seem to have the issue.

Any help or suggestions would be great. I am looking to change the product image gallery on all products but I would like to see what they all look like before choosing.

I should add that this is a fresh wordpress install – its a staging site that has recently been created.

2/ Please check if it is a new builder is activated on your site for single product page – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-single-product-builder-with-elementor/

Thanks for your reply, I carried out the suggestions but these did not help. I will take another look at it over the next few days.
