    Hey,

I changed the aspect ratio on all products in my store. I have configured the 400 x 500 ratio in the Shop page and all pictures show up accordingly to the new ratio. However, on the Single Product page only some random pictures actually pick up the change. I can see the picture size changing when scrolling through lightBox. I changed to the same 400 x 500 under the Display tab in woocommerce too.
I’ve cleared the cache and restarted the web server without any results.

Any idea of what I’ve missed?

    Many thanks,
    Mattias

    Hello,

    Please read this article https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/
You may delete Product Images Width and Height in Theme Option, then go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display and change Product Image settings. Then regenerate thumbnails with the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/.

    Regards

Hey I have another question in regards of this.
When I use the drop down to select size of the product the image aspect ratio changes and it gets squashed inside the single product picture frame. So the frame or wrapper doesn’t change but the content of the photo itself getting squashed. Looks very odd when you pick the size.

The best thing to show you what I mean is to go to the link in private and just pick a size and watch it happen.

Do you have any idea of why this might happen?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

What woocommerce version do you use on site?
WC released the new major update. We will release a new theme version within few days. This version will be a fully compatible with Woocommerce 3.3.

    Hey,

I just bumped it to the latest from the Plugin area and now have version (3.2.6). Is 3.3 still in beta or rolled out in stages maybe because I can’t get it. I still have the same problem after the update.
Okay, I just checked your demo side and it doesn’t have the same issue.

I have done some changes to product description area for some long time ago but I haven’t noticed this problem until I change the aspect ratio on the photos from 1:1 to 5:6.

If you believe that your theme update will fix this I’m gladly waiting :). Where can we find patch notes about the update when it becomes available?

    Thank you

    Hello,

If you use woocommerce 3.2.6 version this is great. Woocommerce 3.3 version does not exist anymore on the official site.
Latest theme version is 3.5.1 but on your site using 3.4, so I would recommend you to update theme.
If after the theme update the problem with images won’t be solved, please let us know.

    Regards

    Hey,
I have updated the theme version now to Version: 3.5.1. Presumably I don’t need to do anything with the child theme in use?
The issue persist unfortunately with the images getting squashed inside the hard cropped lightbox wrapper when selecting a size in the drop down menu on the single product page.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I’ve passed this problem to our developers. They said that the problem relate to “Crop” in settings of images and our zoom option. But in a new version of woocommerce plugin, that will be released soon, settings for product images will be changed. We will wait until stable version of WooCommerce will be released. Then we will be able to fix this problem in next theme update.
    Thanks for the notice.

    Hi,

I have updated the woocommerce and legenda now again to the latest version and it is still causing this squashing of the image within the lightbox on the single product page.

I tried to hide the “clear” button with CSS to see if it would go away but it didn’t.
Maybe removing it with remove_action would work better? Not sure if that is possible though unless editing the function?

    Any ideas? Thank you
