I AM HAVING ISSUES WITH MY IMAGES.
For example i have one page in my catalog that has 15 products in 3 rows showing. Two products both have images set but they are not the same size thumbnail. When i go into one of the products the product looks fine and the zoom works on the image. On the product that looks too big in the thumbs i go into this one and the image is too big for the box.
Any ideas…
Hello,
It happened because you have uploaded the images are different sizes. Try the same size.

But I thought there was a setting to resize images in both the category and single product pages. Most of our products have different dimensions so would ideally just like them to resize to fit the box
Hello,
Sorry, but original product images should have dimensions 1 425px × 1 900px approximately. The sizes should be the same for all images.
Thank you.

Is this meant to say 1425 x 1900
Hello,
Yes, 1425px × 1900px approximately. It can be 1000px × 1300px or so.
Thank you.

Ok so is there a size i should make my images so that when i choose a featured image then the thumbnail in the catalog and the main image for the product are all the same across all products and the zoom feature works ?
Hello,
You need set similar sizes for all images so they are resized correctly due to the settings you’ll specify in Woocommerce > Settings > Products tab.
Thank you.

Ok but basically if ll the featured images are the same size then all other images should look the same as per the image settings on Woocommerce > Settings > Products tab ??
Hello,
If you’re talking about the images on Products page then they will be scaled to the sizes set in Woocommerce > Settings > Products tab.

I am still having an issue with all the images not being the same size….

I just want them all to be the same square size and for the main image to resize to fit the box.
Surely this is possible 🙂
Hello,
Try to add this code in custom.css file:
.product-content-image img {
height: 160px !important;
}
How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
Thank you.
