im looking to have different filters or separate filters for each category. For example, if you have sports products, you can have filters specific to sports categories, and for other categories like drinks, you can have filters for flavor, etc.
Hello, @clean,
Thank you for reaching out and providing a detailed explanation of your concerns. We have carefully reviewed your message and conducted tests on our own test site. Our findings confirm that the behavior you observed is indeed the default functionality of the widgets. To clarify, each widget operates independently, not specific category-wise.
Should you wish to suggest a modification to this functionality, we invite you to submit your request on our Taskboard, which can be found at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. We value customer feedback, and if your proposal garners sufficient support from our user community, our development team will take it into consideration for potential inclusion in future updates.
We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist with any further inquiries you may have.
Best Regards,

Hello, @clean,
We regret any inconvenience you may have experienced. Upon reviewing the website you provided, specifically this page: https://demo.crocoblock.com/zolden-new/, we have noted that both the men’s and women’s category pages feature sidebars equipped with category filters, including Size, Color, and Brand filters, which are consistent across both sections.
For your convenience, here are the direct links to the respective pages:
– Men’s Collection: https://demo.crocoblock.com/zolden-new/product-category/mens-collection/
– Women’s Collection: https://demo.crocoblock.com/zolden-new/product-category/womens-collections/
We understand that there may be some product categories that are not selectable on the menu category page for both the men’s and women’s categories.
Regarding the implementation of identical behavior for the product category filter within our theme, we regret to inform you that such functionality is not currently available as an option.
However, we highly value customer input and encourage you to propose any modifications or enhancements via our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. Should your suggestion receive significant backing from our user community, our development team will consider it for future updates.
We appreciate your understanding and remain at your disposal for any further assistance you may require.
Warm regards,
The 8Theme Team
