Hi there
So far I have tried importing two demos (twice as I thought I may have done something wrong).
but the imported website does not look like the demos\previews on the 8theme website which is frustrating as the demos are the main draw.
So far I have tried the:
Electronics Demo
Sushi Demo
both imported menus are different to the online demo
both products are different to the demo (does not look like its importing categories and products at all but rather has default woocommerce categories and products)
both have layout elements present on the demo but not in the imported content
compare the home pages of the live demo and the imported demos and you will see.
Have tried updating and again today to v4.4 . Still the same.
Working on Wamp (have main nec limit adjustments)
Why are they not the same ?
Hello,
You need to create menu, please follow our documentation https://www.8theme.com/documentation/docs/general-information/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/menu-set-up/mega-menu/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/video-tutotials/03-how-to-create-a-mega-menu/
You need to create own products also because we provide import of products examples.

Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

Thanks.
For the Sushi demo, how you setup the :

page ?
Please import this page http://prntscr.com/gi81vh then go to Edit page and use custom item design for your Posts Grid elements http://prntscr.com/fgm6j1

Thank-you, it ultimately helped but I had no idea where ” Import Additional Pages ” was.
Is there a way to make the products in the menu clickable or activating some link to the product ? The natural action is to want to click it.
For those asking the same question and clicking with the above screenshots..
In the WordPress Backend Mainmenu,
Navigation to 8Theme Options-> Import/Export-> Dummy Content ->
Then, scroll all the way down. Below all the preview demo thumbnails is the Import Additional Pages Section where you can import pages that in the online demo on the 8theme website but not the included in dummy content in the one-lick-installs / demo version .
Select the desired content you wish to import from the drop down menu and click import. (see above screenshot in previous post)
RE the Sushi Menu, you can customize your Navigation Tabs and Content as per your requirements / product categories using Visual Composer by clicking Edit Post Grid and Edit Tab (see above screenshot in previous post)
Products and Categories are not like the online demo after the demo version import, it is the woocommerce sample data. You will have to add products and categories accordingly.
Should be enough to point you in the right direction.
Hi @mrsteevj,
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation and time.
Sure this will help other users too.
Do not hesitate to ask if you have any other questions (in new topic/post)
Regards,
Hi, i imported the page menu-suhi to a different demo, but the menu does not show up and the “template” mentioned in the screenshot above is not there
Even in your demo, the menu appears almost like it is transparent , the elements are there but they cannot be seen.
Hello, @cubiix,
Please describe your issue in detail, provide link to your site and screenshot for better understanding.

Hello, I have this same problems.
My Demo don’t look like Preview Demo.
I’ve noticed undermentioned problems:
1. On my Main Page, first photo is all black (in Preview was green on the left and photo with cosmetic on the right).
2. My maim menu is fuzzy.
3. I don’t have small menu on the right side.
Best regards
