Importing restaurant demo content - by sunil_dora

    I bought the Legenda theme from your in themeforest a couple of days ago. Big headache because i couldn’t setup the same site as your restaurant demo. I checked in browser console, in network > xhr > it’s giving api error.

    After i go with almost all the steps in wizard installation, when i get to importing demo content, it get’s in a loop. Even tho i get the message: Please wait, it may take up to 2 minutes. it is still loading after maybe 3 hours.

    If i cancel it will send me back to the first step.

    Can you assist me with importing the demo content, please?
    It’s urgent for me. I am working on local.

    Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us.
    Please, make sure you have checked all the server requirements before the installation http://prntscr.com/j0306n
    Also, please read our documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/installation_upgrade
    make sure that all required plugins were installed and activated (list of cush plugins you can find in the documentation), if not, simply upload plugins via FTP https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ (https://www.8theme.com/faq/)
    then go to Theme Options > Import/Export > Install Base Demo Content button to import posts, projects, products and simple menu. Wait a moment when you’ll see Success message and install version of home page you like https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/demo_data_installation

    Yes,
    I have checked your installation instructions and done the theme installation, home page setup.

    But in your setup wizard, I am facing issue to setup demo content for restraunt demo. It’s showing 2 minutes but not getting install. I checked in browser console – network – che, it’s showing api error to connect and demo content not getting ddownloaded.

    My requirement is to setup demo content same as yours.

    Please give the proper solution for this or give demo content in mail so I can do setup of it.

    Please try to Import of .XML files. We included all the demo versions and additional pages import to XML files folder of theme package. There you’ll be able to see .xml files, Revolution slider archives. Legenda Theme Options can also be imported by copying the text file and pasting its content into the Import from file field on the Import/Export tab in Legenda Theme Options.

    Yes,
    I tried to import Legenda_demo_data.xml file in you theme package XML_DATA directory. It’s showing following error ,

    Import WordPress
    Failed to import shop_order_status cancelled
    Failed to import shop_order_status completed
    Failed to import shop_order_status failed
    Failed to import shop_order_status on-hold
    Failed to import shop_order_status pending
    Failed to import shop_order_status processing
    Failed to import shop_order_status refunded

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function WP_Http() in C:\xampp\htdocs\ohsl\wp-content\themes\legenda\framework\wordpress-importer\wordpress-importer.php on line 906

    How can I resolve this?

    Hello,

    Please find function et_update_slider in legenda/framework/import.php file via FTP and add class_exists('RevSlider') like on the this screenshot – http://prntscr.com/j0q6l6
    We will fix this bug in next theme update.

    I updated the code as you given in the screenshot. But it’s giving the same error again. Please give proper solution. I need to complete my project as soon as possible, so please give the solution faster.

    Hello,

    Firstly, what error do you have in the console http://prntscr.com/j13dfr ? Did you try to clear your browser cache and try again? If yes, you also may comment this line http://prntscr.com/j13e1a > https://prnt.sc/j13ey7 (legenda/framework/import file) and check if the content will be imported, but in this case, the slider should be imported using file (we sent it to your registration email).

    Hello,
    I am able import the slider data but not the demo content as earlier I said to you and I also posted the error I am facing in my last previous comment. Please solution for importing the data like pages, products and etc.

    Have you commented the line – https://prnt.sc/j13ey7 ? if yes, the import of base demo contact should work. Could you please try to import data via Theme Options one more time? Let me know result. Thanks in advance.

    I commented the line code as given in the screenshot, still I am unable to add the demo content. Please check the error I am facing in the screenshot –
    1) https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3279318/b299b3eae3424e4b448300de356579a8 (using theme options and theme setup wizard)
    2) https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3279369/f6b0c1df6e9f539ab7a6dc46aefb6443 (using wordpress import)

    Please give he proper way to set this as soon as possible.

    This is theme bug. We’ll include the fix for this issue in next theme update. If you provide me FTP access we’ll fix it for you.
