    Hi,

    How can I improve the search function on my website?

    When a search is made, then the search function searches through the description of every single product page. This is unfortunate, because a lot of unrelated products are included in the search in this way. See for in stance these results for the term ‘golden ring’. Unrelated products are included.

    The search should be limited to the title and the short description (possibly including the tags). Is it possible to limit the search function to the
    – title
    – short description
    – tags?

    Hello,

    This requests additional customization in file (royal/framework/theme-functions.php
    et_get_search_result et_search_get_result). Sorry, but customizations are not covered under our Support Policy.
