I recently created a custom product archive page, but the filter functionality is not working on the mobile version. Please help me resolve this issue.
he filter is also not visible on the published version of the product archive page. However, it appears when I open the page in Elementor, but it doesn’t show when I view the live version.
Hello, Hassan,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
1/ What device and browser do you use? We’ve checked from Samsung mobile, Chrome browser, and filters work fine on the Shop page.
2/ “he filter is also not visible on the published version of the product archive page” – please provide URL, because it is visible on the Shop page – https://prnt.sc/3_4diOCaX24q

1- On the shop page, the filter functionality works fine. However, I created custom product archive pages for each category separately, and the issue occurs on these category product archive pages.
2- The filter is visible, but it doesn’t work on the custom category pages.
Kindly visit that link of custom product archieve page.

Hello,
When you create a custom page via Pages > Add New, the default WooCommerce filters will not function on that page. This behavior is not related to our theme but rather to how WooCommerce operates—its filters only work on default pages.
To view a product category page, please navigate to:
Dashboard > Products > Categories > View Category.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.

Yes please access the site to check the setting.
Dear @Hassan,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We have reviewed your setup and noticed that you have created multiple templates using the “Products Grid” element (as shown here: https://prnt.sc/Az6AgO-WomW7). However, this element is not intended for use on such archive pages. It seems that the documentation, which provides details on the correct usage and configuration of the “Archive Products” page, was not fully referenced. You can find the relevant guide here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-products-archive-builder-with-elementor/.
Instead of creating multiple templates, you can use a single template and replace the “Products Grid” with the “Archive Products” widget (https://prnt.sc/IPefe1_oEX6c). This will ensure that products on shop, product category pages, product tag pages, and other archive pages are displayed dynamically based on WooCommerce queries. Additionally, the filters in the sidebar will function correctly, as they will filter products based on the current query. When using the “Products Grid” widget, all products are displayed statically, meaning filters will not work as expected.
Currently, the only difference between your templates is the banner (https://prnt.sc/EiIePP7YlmL-). However, this can also be displayed dynamically by using the “Archive Title” widget (https://prnt.sc/sWtTnG_rwT_j). Similarly, for archive page descriptions, you should use the “Archive Description” widget (https://prnt.sc/q8_9c5rE9JVK), which will dynamically display content without requiring multiple templates.
The settings for any category in the backend (https://prnt.sc/EiPbDgqQFoni) will be reflected on the frontend as shown here: https://prnt.sc/bBQgBWmTSxsF. Your archive editor should be structured as follows: https://prnt.sc/juZIkOCiLbL4. As mentioned earlier, products should be displayed using the “Archive Products” widget (https://prnt.sc/X7ei6XxS0d-0).
Additionally, we noticed that your banner differs based on the product category. This can also be achieved dynamically with the following configuration: https://prnt.sc/XQAtr7KdAVGx. You can also set a fallback image (https://prnt.sc/VF44Qqs_nlos) in case a category does not have an assigned image, which can be configured here: https://prnt.sc/HCKbwSOGCR7z.
Once everything is set up correctly as described above, your filters will function properly as well: https://prnt.sc/5_d7oh8ZA7E4.
Note: the content of title, description may not be just the same as on frontend as it is dynamically so once you set the widgets, you can check the frontend for correct view.
Please feel free to access the site and check the settings accordingly. If you need any further assistance, do not hesitate to reach out.
Best Regards,
Jack Richardson
