in summary order page the total price is displayed twice – i tried to apply display:none to the class but they have the same class and – obviously – they both disappear

The fix above has been done on child theme right ? Sorry if it’s a probably a silly question .. I just want to be sure that in further update this fix remain in place

Yes child theme update won’t be changes your customization after parent theme update unless you update child them as well.
