There’s an empty space at the bottom of the Home page where I’m trying to insert an Info Banner widget. In the space reserved for content (now empty), I click the “+” and select Info Banner. But the widget doesn’t insert itself into the content area. Instead, it appears just above it! How do I get it positioned properly to fill in that extra space? Goal: I need to add two buttons that are centered in order to feature two food-related services. But I can’t get past this issue! Thank you for any help, Nancy

    Hi Rose,

Yes, I can do that for you. But I don’t see where to upload a screenshot via this reply. Please let me know soonest because I’m on a schedule to get the Home page working ASAP. Thanks, Nancy

You may use such screenshot maker as Lightshot and provide screenshot link.

Here’s a bit.ly link to a page with that screen shot.

You can clearly see the empty space and “+” sign, which isn’t working. The Info Banner above it needs to be placed inside the empty space. Can you fix?

You can try this link via Lightshot, too.

Please click on + and add row element and you will be able add needed elements inside the row, like http://prntscr.com/hbtw2a
Here you may find more information – https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VC/pages/4030510/WPBakery+Page+Builder+How+To+s

Also, you need to update theme to 3.3 version https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade and update all required plugins: https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ http://prntscr.com/gtwfrk
Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files (it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package).
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
You need to enter your purchase code to activate the theme and skip Setup Wizard.

I followed your instructions for adding a row, but it’s not working for that empty block.

And I checked the link you gave me for more information, but don’t know which article to look at.

    HELP!

Sorry, but I can’t see the problem. Please describe it in more detail. I’ve added a row with buttons on your Home page http://prntscr.com/hcw4a4. Please check.

Rose, I’ve updated the Royal theme, WooCommerce, and purchased a license for Ultimate Addons. Following are the issues I’m still having:
    1. In Plug-ins, Page Builder won’t update. I get an error message “Invalid URL.” I assume that Page Builder was “built into” the Royal theme. If not, how to I perform updates?
    2. In Ultimate Addons, Info Banner widget, we can’t add a background color or change fonts.
    3. I’m still not able to add a row to that empty space at the bottom of the page. Is it meant to be used to simply add space at the end of the page?

    Hi Rose,

I figured it out. In the text below the main photo—the summary—there was some hidden text in white that caused the extra space between that and the Info Banner.

Now the only issue left is updating the PageBuilder plug-in. As I wrote earlier, when you click the update link you get an error message: “A valid URL was not provided.” How am I supposed to proceed? (I thought PageBuilder was built into the Royal theme.)

    Hi Rose,

Just one more issue (aside from not being able to update Page Builder). In Appearances > Widgets> Footer Links widget, I can’t add more than one link. The first one for Facebook is fine, but the second for LinkedIn won’t save. What are the 2 links that are causing the error message? LightShot link: https://prnt.sc/hd2ril

    Hi Rose,

I did manage to figure out the Footer Links issue. The only thing that remains is updating Page Builder. How do I do that?

    Hello,

The latest version of Page Builder plugin you may find here – https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ To update the plugin connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/.
All the premium plugins included in our theme are external and we have the right to build them into our theme as we purchase the Extended License for each of these plugins. The plugins run perfectly and are fully functional. There is no doubt that you can get the current plugin version directly from us. For that go to https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ page and you’ll get access to all necessary archives. These plugins registration is not obligatory! The plugins are functioning perfect without any activation. The plugin activation option was added in the plugin for the customers to get automatic updates and support directly from plugin developers. Only in case you need this features you will need to purchase and register the plugin. This is not only our practice but all the theme authors from ThemeForest. https://www.8theme.com/faq/ (INCLUDED PLUGINS).

    Regards
