    Dear Team,

I am currently using the XStore theme for my WordPress-based e-commerce website. Recently, I have installed the AMP from XStore and implemented it as a mobile theme. However, I have been experiencing some issues related to caching, and the AMP version is not always served for clients browsing with mobile.

Upon researching, I found that having a separate URL for the AMP version could potentially resolve this issue. However, I noticed that this option does not exist in XStore AMP. I also found that there was code in the “amp_prepare_render()” function for this feature, but it was commented out due to errors in pagination links.

I am writing to inquire about how I might go about implementing a separate URL for the AMP version on my website. Any guidance or resources you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, I noticed that the current version of AMP (v1.0.4) was released on April 4, 2023, and there have been no updates since then. Could you please inform me when the next version of AMP is planned to be released and whether it might include the separate URL feature?

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.

    Best regards,

    Dear Fabio,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for using the XStore theme for your e-commerce website. We appreciate you taking the time to detail the issues you’ve been encountering with the AMP functionality.

Please post your requests on this page – https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ , so our dev team read them.
At present, we are unable to provide a definitive date for the next update, as our team is currently engaged with other priorities. However, we encourage you to advance your request via the Taskboard to facilitate attention.

Based on our experience with other clients who use the WPRocket cache plugin we recommend the following solution: If you have enabled the ‘Load JavaScript deferred’ option, it is necessary to also activate the ‘Combine JavaScript files’ option. Should you encounter any difficulties enabling the ‘Combine JavaScript files’ option, please consider disabling the ‘Load JavaScript deferred’ option as shown here: https://prnt.sc/26d546e.
If the above solution does not resolve your issue, we kindly suggest reviewing this informative article from WPRocket: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1326-using-amp-plugins. For additional support and personalized assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to the WPRocket support team directly.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
