    Dear 8theme Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I am writing to inquire about customizing the shopping cart experience on my website using the XStore theme. I am interested in enhancing the user interface by modifying the behavior of the “Add to Cart” action. Specifically, I aim to either implement an off-canvas or popup cart feature, or alternatively, display the cart count directly on the cart icon in the header menu, without navigating the user to a new cart page each time an item is added.

Could you please guide me on how to achieve the following functionalities within the XStore theme?

    1. **Off-Canvas/Popup Cart**: I would like to have a cart that slides in from the side or appears as a popup when a customer adds a product to their cart, allowing them to continue shopping without being redirected to the cart page. Is there a built-in feature or a recommended plugin that integrates well with XStore to enable this?

    2. **wishlist Count in Header Menu**: I am also interested in displaying the updated cart count directly on the wishlist icon within the header menu. This would allow customers to see the number of items in their wishlist at a glance, enhancing the shopping experience. How can I implement this feature in the XStore theme?

I believe these adjustments will streamline the shopping process and improve user engagement on my site. Any recommendations or instructions you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your continued support and looking forward to your guidance.

    Hello, @Dylan,

    Thank you for your response.

We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ ), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
