    Hi team,

I’ve been trying to set up payments on my site through WooCommerce. I installed the Stripe and PayPal plugins and submitted all the required personal details and documents for verification. However, in the Payments section of the WordPress dashboard, my account status still shows as “Under Review”, payments are Disabled, and payouts are marked as “Temporarily Suspended”.

On top of that, I get this error: “There was a problem redirecting you to the account dashboard. Please try again.” (attached screenshot)

I’m not sure if this is normal or if something went wrong. Please let me know how long the review process takes or how to fix the dashboard redirect issue.

    Thanks,
    Carina

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

1/ At first glance, your inquiry does not appear to be directly related to our theme but rather to the functionality of WooCommerce and the payment plugins you are using. To confirm or rule out this assumption, we recommend testing the issue with a default theme.
Go to Appearance > Themes > activate Storefront theme and check how it works then.

If the behavior continues regardless of the theme being used, it suggests that the problem may not be related to the theme itself. In this case, we would recommend you contact support of woocommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

2/ The review process for payment gateways such as Stripe and PayPal is handled by their respective platforms, and the duration may vary depending on their verification procedures. We recommend checking your email for any updates or additional document requests from Stripe or PayPal, as this may help expedite the process.

Regarding the dashboard redirect issue, this could be related to a temporary connection issue or a plugin conflict. We suggest the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Clear your browser cache and try accessing the dashboard again.
    2. Disable any caching or security plugins temporarily to check if they are interfering.
    3. Ensure that your WooCommerce, Stripe, and PayPal plugins are updated to the latest versions.
    4. Try accessing the dashboard from a different browser or device.

If the issue persists, we recommend reaching out to Stripe and PayPal support directly for further assistance, as they can provide more details regarding your account status and any necessary actions.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
