Hello
I send a message via themeforest.net but are unclear as to how im supposed to add all or some theme variations to an existing web theme. I am currently using “Helen” but would also like to have other theme variations installed that can be used as different versions or pages of my site. How do i implement this? Thanks.
Hello,
After you installed base demo content you have possibility to install other templates variants. Go to 8Theme Options > Import/Export > Dummy Content > select a template you need from drop down list and click “Set up version” button.
A page will be imported in Pages section of wp-admin panel.

When i first installed this theme I went to 8Theme Options > Import/Export > Dummy Content > selected “Helen” and then clicked “Set up version” button. Once I had done this I modified images, text, content etc to what i wanted for my site. If I load another variant using this same method it will override the current content i have and i dont want that to happen. I never saw a page created once i set up version in admin panel. Im not sure what you mean. I want to keep all of the current data, settings i have on my site now but would like to load other varients to use as pages etc. How is this done without ruining or changing my current site?
Hello,
When you install a template variant it’s automatically set as front page in WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading. So after you install a template go to Settings > Reading and set your previous page as a home page and edit a template you installed in WP Dashboard > Pages section.

I can’t install nobody Theme-Variants.
I imported the demo content (pages etc.).
After clicking on a Theme-Variant “install” it is loading, and when I go to my homepage, I have the same standard theme…….
Can you help me?

Hello @royal,
You need ask your host to activate allow_url_fopen function and increase values for upload_max_filesize and post_max_size functions.
After that try to install templates.
