    Beyond the problems I’m having getting my hosting provider to allow uploads over 2MBs, I’m having a major time installing this theme.

    I can’t install it via wordpress because of the above issue but I also can’t install it via FTP either. Once it’s live I get a white screen and the error “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/tom/public_html/wp/wp-content/themes/royal/framework/theme-functions.php on line 2829”

    Any help you can give me is appreciated.

    Hello,

    That error means you have low php version. Please ask your host to increase it at least to 5.3 version.

    Hi,
    I have the same problem after activate the theme on the same line

    But from the cpanel (multidomain) same like my PHP version is correct

    Apache version 2.2.26
    PHP version 5.4.32
    MySQL version 5.5.38-35.2

    How can I solve the problem?

    Solved alone… on the cpanel server is 5.4 but a cpanel tool force over 5.2 …. solved now. Thanks
