    Hello Eva,

We are sorry too, but we have tried to install the theme in 3 differents Hosting suppliers (Strato, Hostinger and Axarnet) and we got the same result, it means, we can’t install the theme. Please give us another solution. Maybe the file that you gave us is corrupt or doesn’t work correctly.

    Thanks,
    Regards.
    Luis Cornejo.

    Hello @presumedetucasa,

Have you asked other hosting providers to check error logs what is causing the issue? They should see some errors and the reason why it’s not working.
Other clients install the theme successfully and don’t experience any problems.
We’re very sorry but you have to consult with your hosting providers regarding “500 error”.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello @Alfredo,

Are you going to use Woocommerce plugin as it must be installed before the theme activation?

As I see not all files have been uploaded via FTP.
Please upload the theme archive to the “themes” folder via FTP and we’ll check it.
    Thank you.

P.S. Concerning the Woocommerce plugin it’s already written: “Our theme is fully compatible with WooCommerce plugin, but it’s not included in theme package. You should install WooCommerce plugin before theme installation

    Thank you.

I am having issues getting the theme to install, both through the wordpress dashboard and via FTP. When I install through wordpress, the site asks “are you sure you want to do this?” and doesnt allow the .zip file to be uploaded. On FTP I am able to add the unzipped file to the themes folder, but it doesnt show up on the wordpress site to be activated. I have also installed the woocommerce plugin on site before trying either of these methods and have attempted installation on different computers as well.

Please help ASAP, need to get a site up and running!

    Hello,

The problem is caused by memory limit. You need increase it at your hosting provider. Please contact them and ask to change memory limit value.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I upgraded the memory limit in the php.ini file to 128 MB, which should be more than enough memory for this theme to run. I tried to install again through the wp dashboard and FTP but it is still not working.

As I see memory limit value is the same:

Please contact your host to increase it.

I loaded the newer version of Legenda over an older version and now I am getting this error, I see someone else had the same error but I don’t see a fix.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_shortcode_custom_css_class() in /hsphere/local/home/billpast/willdesignnj.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/vc.php on line 1003

Ok, so I contacted my hosting and they have increased all memory limits and I also edited the ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’ in wp-config.php and the theme is STILL NOT WORKING. This is getting really frustrating, please help me figure this out ASAP.

    Hello,

You’ve provided us with FTP account for nextgennutritionals@nextgennutritionals.com, which means we’ll manage this site with subfolder: http://www.nextgennutritionals.com/nextgennutritionals/
Please check ttp://www.nextgennutritionals.com/nextgennutritionals/wp-admin if there is legenda theme in Appearance > Themes.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I cannot access the site with that link. The direct address to the site is http://www.nextgennutritionals.com. On the dashboard that I have access to, there is no legenda theme present nor is there a subfolder visible in FTP.

    Dear @catlynngriffith,

    Thank you for the credentials.
I’ve installed the theme, you can check it http://www.nextgennutritionals.com/
As I’ve told you the reason was you provided us with wrong FTP account (for this subfolder http://www.nextgennutritionals.com/nextgennutritionals/)
Please pay attention: in public_html folder you have “nextgennutritionals” subfolder (url is http://www.nextgennutritionals.com/nextgennutritionals/ ) and you were trying to install the theme there, but were checking wp-admin of nextgennutritionals.com.
You need ask your host for the correct FTP details for the site nextgennutritionals.com, not for nextgennutritionals.com/nextgennutritionals which you were using.

Now you can proceed working on your site. Don’t forget to refer to our documentation if you have some questions: https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/demo_data_installation

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,
I installed the theme, activated it, and my website crashed. I can no longer access to it.
    The error message is :
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Taxonomy_Metadata in /html/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/inc/taxonomy-metadata.php on line 10
This is absolutely abnormal for a purchased theme. I am furious.
Please help me fix it quickly.
