    Hello @poissonplume,

The error for wp-admin panel means that Taxonomy_Metadata class has already been declared and you can’t declare it twice.
I’ve fixed it in this way: under wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/inc directory edited the file taxonomy-metadata.php (line 10). After that wp-admin panel has started working.

Let us know if you need more help.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,
Thanks a lot for your help.
Do you have any clue of what has already declared that Taxonomy_Metadata ? Is it another plugin? Or my previous theme?
(I am just asking the question to be able to sort this issue forever).
    Thanks again !

    Dear @poissonplume,

The issue might be caused by some plugin.
You can ask your host to check error logs in order to find the reason.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your answer.
My host does not currently hold a log file. I will try to use the WordPress debug tool (if you know how to set it up, please do not hesitate… even though I am absolutely aware this is out of scope of your support, and I will definitely understand if you cannot give the information).
I will anyway let you know if i find where this issue is, in order to help you solve it.

Is it however possible that you create a fix in a future release, to test if the Taxonomy_Metadata has been declared, before declaring it again? It would avoid hassle for me, trying to find which plugin is in conflict.

    Thanks again !

    Best regards,
    Nathalie

    Hello @poissonplume,

How to enable debugging you can find here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

Thank you for the suggestion. We’ll take this into our account.

Hey, I’ve installed Legenda and everything seems to be working great, except it’s not working with one plugin that i have always used with WooCommerce. The plugin is called ‘PDF Invoices’ by Add-On Enterprises.

Everytime I go to ‘Download PDF’ for an order in WooCommerce I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘DOMException’ with message ‘Invalid Character Error’ in /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/lib/dompdf/lib/html5lib/TreeBuilder.php:3169 Stack trace: #0 /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/lib/dompdf/lib/html5lib/TreeBuilder.php(3169): DOMElement->setAttribute(‘size”2″‘, ”) #1 /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/lib/dompdf/lib/html5lib/TreeBuilder.php(1065): HTML5_TreeBuilder->insertElement(Array) #2 /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/lib/dompdf/lib/html5lib/Tokenizer.php(2417): HTML5_TreeBuilder->emitToken(Array) #3 /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/lib/dompdf/lib/html5lib/Tokenizer.php(708): HTML5_Tokenizer->emitToken(Array) #4 /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/lib/dompdf/include/dompdf.cls.php(466): HTML5_Tokenizer->parse() #5 /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/classes/clas in /home/aiza/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/lib/dompdf/lib/html5lib/TreeBuilder.php on line 3169

Before you suggest speaking to the plugin developer, I already have numerous times before coming to you and we figured that this issue only happens when we activate the Legenda theme. I tried with over 10 other themes and am not getting this error anywhere else.

It’s certainly not a plugin related issue and I need to know what should be modified/changed in order for this to work. This is a necessity of mine for the website because it allows me to send out invoices to my customers.

Please let me know how this can be resolved, your help is much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello!
I’ve just baught the theme on themeforest.net and i’ve been trying to install it for a while now, and I can’t seem to find out why my admin won’t work.
    I’ve done the following:
    1. WP update to the most recent version
    2. Fresh woocommerce install
    3. Install via wp-admin failed, so I have installed it via FTP
    4. When activating the theme I can’t access anything in the wp-admin except the dashboard and theme options.

I have disactivated all the pluggins except woocommerce and wp importer.
I have provided you with the access credentials below.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

You need to increase PHP memory at least to 64MB. At the moment it’s not enough memory to run WordPress.

    Hello,

I downloaded Legenda and worked on it on Mamp (changed a little bit of css etc.)
Now I am ready to upload it to the webpage via an FTP client (I am using File Zilla)… Everything works fine… Now I am almost ready to launch but there is one problem occurring while accessing the domain it says:

    +++++++++
[02-Sep-2014 08:29:22 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function etheme_get_page_sidebar() in /home/foodandc/public_html/wordpresstest/wp-content/themes/Legenda_Ecommerce_Responsive_WordPress_Theme/legenda/page.php on line 6
[02-Sep-2014 08:29:26 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function etheme_get_page_sidebar() in /home/foodandc/public_html/wordpresstest/wp-content/themes/Legenda_Ecommerce_Responsive_WordPress_Theme/legenda/page.php on line 6
    ++++++++++

I although never opened the page.php document, so I don’t know what could be wrong with it…

    My hosting company answered me:
the php version in the server is 5.4 and you will need to make sure the scripts are compatible with that version. If it is a code error or the file where etheme_get_page_sidebar is not uploaded or in a wrong path .

So my questions is how can I change to make it work?
Thank you very much for your response!

    Hello @Leopodine,

Could you please ask your hosting provider if it’s possible to decrease php version to 5.3?
If so please ask them to do this for you.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I cannot get the Legenda website to show up on my site http://www.pitsandbieces.com

I could not upload the theme through WP Admin, so I did it through the FTP.

I have the woocommerce and all plug ins. I went to theme options/import and installed Demo Data successfully.

But I don’t see anything on my website.

    I also get this notice:

Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.

    Can you help?

Thank you, more info is appearing now, but I do not see the Demo Data show up.

And it still says, “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.”

Do I need to install Demo Data, or is this a WooCommerce issue?

    Hello @pitsandbieces,

Yes, you need install demo data as described in our documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/demo_data_installation

Concerning the warning, you shouldn’t worry. It won’t affect your site work. We’ll fix it in our next update.

    Sorry for inconveniences.
