I have issues with the installation of the Lifestyle Template.
I tried to upload the zip-file in wordpress, but after I pressed “start installation” the system does nothing for quite a while and then shows an error “the link you used is wrong or not available”?!?!
I tried to transfer the unzipped file via ftp. that did work, so I found the Lifestyle theme in my theme gallery, it had a normal demo-picture (ONE DEMO PICTURE), but as soon as I press “show demo” I get a lot of errors and a very chaotic layout. I tried to activate lifestyle, just to see what happens then, but the custumizer was a total mess and I got heaps of errors. However I did install a lot of plugins as suggested, but the errors still remained.
I installed the PHP Info-Plugin and figured out that the upload_max_filesize is too low. It should be 30M minimum , but it was only 8M. I changed it to 40 in my PHP settings.
But I couldn’t check if the file_get_contents() function is enabled or not. The PHP settings do meet the other installation requirements, such as version, execution time and memory limit.
No idea how to fix that anymore 🙂 Totally lost. I put the PHP Information in the Private Content.
