Installing theme in pre existing wordpress woocommerce website.

You can just upload the XStore theme via Appearance > Themes and activate it on the site. If your site is live, create a staging site (full copy) and activate the XStore there first.

Some 3rd party plugins may cause compatibility problems, so we would recommend disabling such plugins first, and then enabling them one by one, for example, disabling the Kirki plugin if it was activated. Here you can find a list of required plugins – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ .

If we talking about step-by-step inіtruction, it can be:
1/ Create a staging website with a full copy of your existing website
2/ Install the XStore theme on the staging website
3/ Check the difference in design and elements (our theme provides its own Elementor widgets -> https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/design-elements/ and WPBakery ones)
4/ For example: If you had in your previous theme the Products element on the page then you should use our one instead of the old and it relates to other elements that don’t come built-in with Elementor/WPBakery builders.
5/ You can add custom CSS if you need to make something restyled to an old-theme design.

Anyway, everything is quite simple but you will need to spend some time for migration one theme to another.

The shop page is a catalog page for products that cannot be edited using Elementor by default.
If you are using Elementor Pro, please refer to the plugin documentation for instructions on how to edit the shop page: https://elementor.com/help/creating-a-woocommerce-archive-template/.

Elementor plugin has 2 versions: free and Pro. Elementor plugin author does not offer a developer license for the Pro version and does not allow to built-in Pro version of plugin to themes. So, you are able to use the free version of the Elementor but in case you want to get the Pro version you will need to buy an individual license, our theme supports Elementor Pro, but questions about Elementor Pro functionality you need to forward to authors of the plugin.

Elementor Pro is not required to edit the product archive (Shop) in our theme. All settings you can find in Theme Options > WooCommerce.

1. No, if you create a new Shop page using the Elementor Free page builder and assign it as the Shop page, it will automatically take on the Shop archive page layout and functionality by default.

“The shop page which came with your theme is not editable by elementor” – this is independent of the theme, you can activate the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront and you will get the same.

Elementor has global settings for Typography https://elementor.com/help/how-do-i-set-global-fonts-and-colors/ and every element also.
If you edit demo content, you will need to change the font for elements one by one. In case you create content from scratch, the global settings will be applied.
