Hello @Rose Tyler,
I want to show filter by Product Type, filter by Skin Type, filter by Skin Concerns in my websites shop page. I have created categories and respective sub categories. I have three categories Product Type, Skin Type and Skin Concern and respective subcategories. I want filter for each category, how can I do that. Please, help me out.
Hello, Arbadev,
Category pages take widgets/filters from the Shop sidebar area in Appearance > Widgets. This is independent of the theme, and comes from WooCommerce plugin. If you want to have separate filters for separate categories, contact the support of WC to get some advice – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

Hello @Rose Tyler,
Please refer to the screenshot in the below link. The 8theme product categories doesn’t have options that woocommerce natively provides. Options like show hierarchy, hide empty categories and etc. Please help me on how I can bring them here on 8theme categories.

Hello, Arbadev,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Mentioned 2 widgets are completely different.
Our filter is a new widget that allows filtering products by categories.
The default WooCommerce widget just shows a list of categories. WooCommerce plugin does not have filter by category widget.
If you want to change or improve the work of our filter, please send a request to our developers team – https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/

Hello @Rose Tyler,
On my single product page the image sizes varies, I want all the image sizes to be fixed. Check this link: https://ioswp.arba-dev.uk/shop/product-type/moisturizers/dr-ceuracle-5%ce%b1-control-clearing-cream/. Height is not fixed, I have tried fixing it in Theme Options > Woocommerce(shop) > Product Images, but it doesn’t take a fix height. How do I do it?
Thanks.
Hello, Arbadev,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
We can’t open the page of the product you provided, it redirects us to the Home page.
You can try to disable “Slider images autoheight” in Theme Options > E-commerce > Single Product Page.
It is recommended to use a graphics editor and prepare product images (make them the same size) before uploading images to your media gallery.

Hello @Rose Tyler,
Thank you for the above response. Please visit this link https://ioswp.arba-dev.uk/shop/product-type/cleanser/second-cleanserfoam/dr-cueracle-5%ce%b1-control-clearing-cleansing-foam/ , you will be able to view the product. Checkout the product gallery, the images height varies, and so does container height keeps changing.
I couldn’t find the setting “Slider images autoheight” which you mentioned above.
Thank you.

Hello @Rose Tyler,
Thank you for the above response.
On the single product page, the breadcrumbs and return to previous page button are overlapping each other. The ‘return to previous page’ is crucial. How can I not show product type and other categories? Just the base categories. Refer to the below link:

Hello @Arbadev,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
You can do the next – https://prnt.sc/ypx4IZFzoSLt
OR
Settings > Permalinks > Product permalinks > Custom base > change /shop/%product_cat%/ to /product/
We hope this information is helpful.

Hello @Rose Tyler,
Thank you for the above response. it works.
Can you also help me in how can I get the 8theme filter by attributes widget. I can’t find it in widgets.
Thank you.
Hello, @Arbadev,
Thank you for your response.
You can add filters to the sidebar via Appearance > Widgets > Shop sidebar.
Create attributes for products https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/ then you will be able to use filters by attributes widgets.

Hello @Rose Tyler,
I want to display details like expire, and attributes of the products on single product page. It is getting displayed in tabs under additional information. But I want it to display under primary information like price, quantity and all. I thought of using a custom HTML block, but don’t know what code to write in order to display the details. Let’s say I want to display attributes of the products. Please help me into it.
Thank you.
