After installing the Royal theme I use the set up wizard to set up my wordpress site. After it installs the required plugins “internal server error” appears both on front page and when trying to access the admin login. I try installing the plugins as well without the setup wizard and the same thing happens. I narrowed it down to the following plugins causing this error: Screets chat, Contact-form 7, Essential Grid, Visual composer, and WooCommerce. So how do I proceed from this point since the demo that I select needs some of these plugin and the main reason I selected this theme was because it’s suppose to be compatible with WooCommerce. Can anyone help with this problem? maybe I am doing something wrong.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Hello,
Please check https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/installation_upgrade (Requirements for Legenda) and provide wp-admin access in Private Content.
Regards
So I got some of the plugins installed and activated. I downloaded some of the required plugins from the EightTheme wbsite and activate them the internal server erro appears. The plugins that are creating this issue are visual composer, essential grid, master slider, and screets chat.
Please provide FTP access in Private Content.
Also, contact your hosting provider support and ask them to increase the following PHP settings:
– post_max_size to 64M;
– upload_max_filesize to 64M.
and this is correct link to royal documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade
Regards
I was able to install the plugins after making changes to the ini.php file on the server. Thanks! However, when I run the customize your site to download the gallery demo It freezes and now I get an internal error message when selecting “Customize Your Site”.
Hi,
Sorry for a delay in response.
Glad you installed the plugins successfully, but however I didn’t understand what do you mean by “Customize your site” can you explain a little bit more about the issue? You meant it is stucked when you try to import the demo?
If so,
1. Make sure the memory has a high value, https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
2. Also, make sure the timeout value is high too: for that use this plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-maximum-execution-time-exceeded/
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.,
