Is it possible to not display items from subcategories in categories?

Is it possible to not display items from subcategories in categories? Display there only what we choose through the checkbox in the product edit.

The screenshot showed that the item is not in the parent, but it’s pulling all the same

You can try with the following codes, and this codes should be added under functions.php file locates in your child theme: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/275260/22807.
