Is there any way to remove category section from the shop page

I want to know if there is any way to remove the category section that is on the left-hand side of my website. http://e8f.69b.myftpupload.com/shop/
I also want to know how to remove the search feature that is on the cart page. http://e8f.69b.myftpupload.com/cart/
