Dear XStore Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue with the sharing buttons on the individual product pages of my website, caspertextil.com.
1 – When a customer clicks the “Share” button, the link that gets shared includes HTML code along with the product URL. This can be seen in the attached screenshot (Image 1). The shared link contains unnecessary HTML code, which affects the usability and appearance of the shared content.
2 – On some devices and browsers, clicking the “Share” button opens a blank tab instead of sharing the product link. This issue is illustrated in the attached screenshot (Image 2).
Could you please assist in resolving these issues?
Hello CasperTextil,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.
To assist you effectively, could you kindly provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? This will enable us to thoroughly investigate and address your concerns.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.
For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.
Best Regards,

The requested data has been sent.
Dear @CasperTextil,
We hope this message finds you well. We have observed that you are currently using the “Share buttons” widget from Elementor on your platform. Please note that this widget is not built by our XStore theme but is built by the Elementor plugin.
For assistance with the enhancements you mentioned, we recommend reaching out directly to the Elementor support team. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate guidance on their widget.
Additionally, we suggest trying our shortcode [share]
for integration on your single product pages. You can find more details on how to implement this at the following link: https://prnt.sc/nk8G_gDX9mGO.
This shortcode inherits the options from Theme Options -> Social Sharing settings https://prnt.sc/d8m0HaUtW6rL.
Should you have any further questions or require additional support, please do not hesitate to contact us.

[share] . . . I tried it
Dear @CasperTextil,
We hope this message finds you well. We would like to inform you that you can customize the styles of the shortcode content by applying your own CSS styles. We are interested in understanding whether the ‘[share]’ shortcode meets your needs more effectively compared to the Elementor widget.
If you find that the ‘[share]’ shortcode is more suitable, you have the option to tailor the design further by implementing custom CSS. However, if the results are still not meeting your expectations, we recommend reaching out to Elementor’s support team for assistance in enhancing their widget or you can submit a request for additional customization for your specific case -> https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your feedback.
Best Regards,
Jack Richardson
