Hi guys,
We are using woof product filter, one of the options is quite long when expanded, if Styles is expanded it goes from 10 options to 230, while I know this is way to many my client insists it’s needed.
The problem is that the theme is jumping between the top and bottom of the list, this makes it hard to use. I’ve made a clip to show you the issue, take a look here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_5h0QORqRU
The sidebar is set to “Enable sticky sidebar = off”.
Switching to the default theme fixes the issue:

Is this fixable?
Hello,
Please provide us with temporary wp-admin access in the Private Content area.

here you go!
In your settings, the sticky sidebar is enabled http://prntscr.com/j5x8t6 Please disable it, clear cache and let me know if the issue is solved.

thanks, that’s fixed it. I didn’t realise it was set intwo places;)
You’re welcome.

@David Henry – I’m currently researching integrations for Product Filters and WOOF’s on my list. How’s it working out with the XStore theme? Is your clients site live yet?
Hello, @thisisbolo
I faced few users that use that plugin and they did not have critical compatibility issues. Do you have?
Regards
@thisisbolo, everything is fine now and I’m planning another project with the same set up e.g. xstore/woof.

Hello, @David Henry
Thank you for your choice! 🙂

Hi Olga, yes I have run into issues. I’ve been searching the best products filter plugin to use with this theme for some time now. I’m still in the discovery phase and I’ve recorded my experiences. I’ve posted a couple below if you’re interested to see.
@David Henry – how’s the theme search capability working for you with the products filter on the search archive?
Hello, @thisisbolo,
1) WOOF. Can we get access (Dashboard + FTP) to your staging site to test and check the issue? We can’t reproduce this issue on our test installation, so need to check your site.
2) WooCommerce Product Filter.
a) we need to check your site staging site + access to find out why it does not work with custom taxonomy
b) If you have questions mentioned in google doc we would recommend you to submit the ticket on plugin support forum because our theme does not have options for this.

Hi @Olga Barlow
Thank your for your response. I’ve just pushed the WooCommerce Product Filter to production. Details are in the private content. I’ve shared my research, findings from documentation as well as communications I’ve had with the plugin author.
Hello,
Issue #1
We have added the temporary solution for your site
.content-product > .woocommerce-LoopProduct-link.woocommerce-loop-product__link {display: none;}
.content-product .product-content-image img {opacity: 1;}
In next theme updates, we’ll try to fix this compatibility issue.
Issue #2
If shop page widget area is empty then you’ll see default widget. If you want to add the filter there and remove default Categories widget just add the filter widget into Shop sidebar, it does not have WC actions because shop sidebar is not the default option of WC plugin.
Feature with breadcrumbs is interesting and I think useful for users!
At nearest feature, we plan some improvements for the XStore theme for better speed, mobile performance etc. Once we finish with these maybe we’ll try extension development.

@Olga Barlow – thanks for your responses. Can we push the posted links to private content and then delete this response?
Done.

You’re amazing.
He-he, thanks. We are glad to hear that our answer was helpful.
