Hi,
I am developing my client’s website and I was showing him the project progress on my demo server. Now, while uploading the website on his own server, the theme gives me the following error, “YOU HAVE REACHED ACTIVATION NUMBER LIMIT.”.
I have deactivated the theme from my demo server but it still does not get activated.
Please help.
Hello,
Please try to activate theme now.
Regards
Hi,
Thank for your response. The theme is activated now.
But now we are facing a new issue. After activating the theme on the live server the whole CSS has drastically changed. For some reason only the default theme is being shown.
Hello,
Please provide URL of your main site. Also, describe your problem in more details.
Regards
Hi,
Please refer to the private section.
Hello,
Please note, that changing activation limit from our side can’t make any effect on the functionality of your sites.
Have you activated theme using your purchase code in Theme Options?
I am not sure what caused these problems, but if you provide temporary wp-admin access to the demo site, we will take a closer look.
Regards
Yes, I did add the code in Theme Options.
I have created a login for you.
Please enter your purchase code here- http://prntscr.com/jpikc4 Let me know the result.
Regards
Thanks so much. The website is working perfectly fine now. I appreciate your help.
Can you please explain what the issue was? Was it only because the theme wasn’t activated? I did activate the theme on my client’s live server but it did’lt work.
What do I need to do to make it work on the live server?
Thanks
You’re welcome!
Activation of the theme is required. Theme can’t be used without it.
To give you a solid response I need to take a closer look at the live site.
Regards
I’ve added below the details
Is your live site a full copy of demo site? I can see that your Theme Options are different. Make sure you correctly transferred theme from dev site to live site.
Also, I would recommend you to contact server admin and ask to check all your files. Looks like functions.php files, of demo site and live site, contain malware code, (that is not contained in theme archive, which can be downloaded on ThemeForest).
Regards
Ohh!! Thanks for the info. I have contacted my server and they are working on removing the malware.
Once that is done, I’ll upload the files again on the live server. Is there anything specific I need to do or will it work once I put the code?
Hi,
I have uploaded the demo site to the live server and it’s again showing the same issue. Could you please check it at your end?
Thanks
Hi,
Eagerly waiting for your kind response.
Hello @anantvarun,
Looks like your Theme Options weren’t transferred correctly. I’ve imported Theme Options from the dev site to live site. Please check now.
Regards
I wonder why it happened. But I really appreciate your help here.
Thanks for all the effort you put in.
I can’t say for sure why it happened, because do not know what exactly was done to transferring from the dev to live site from your side. But I am glad that the problem is solved.
You’re welcome!
Regards
