After running speed test for my website it seems that it takes too long to load this element. Unfortunately i can’t find what exactly it is to remove it or fix it. Can you please help me?
Hello, Alex,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
Please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access.
To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
To create FTP access, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hello and thank you for your immidiate response. I will provide you in the private content the access details.
Hello, Alex,
Please download xstore-placeholder.png from this page – https://we.tl/t-Y2a4n8IFk9 and upload it into https://itstores.gr/wp-content/uploads/xstore/ folder via FTP.

It seems the problem is solved now. Thank you for your assistance.
I have a final question if you can help me with that too.
The home page now is loading very fast and everything seems to work properly except when you try to navigate in the Shop pages. Product images are optimized and of small size but it takes a long time to navigate through the pages of the shop. Can i somehow optimize the speed that these pages are loaded?
Hello, Alex,
Thank you for your response.
Try to select another Pagination Type in Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout.

8theme team
Is there any other way? I do not want to change pagination type. Also it didn’t fix the problem
Hello, Alex,
Thank you for your response.
Some images are loaded in big size – https://prnt.sc/nfPXm8q2-15s We would recommend you regenerate thumbnails using a plugin – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/product-images/
Also, contact your hosting provider to “Reduce initial server response time” and ask what else they can do to speed up the site.

Even when i choose from the menu to enter a category without products yet it takes about 10s to render it.
Hello, Alex,
1/ Try to use only one cache plugin, as using multiple may slow down the website.
2/ Do you have any regular cache or backup processes in place? It may slow down the site.
3/ Try to use Content Delivery Network (CDN): A CDN is a network of servers located in different geographic regions. By using a CDN, you can store your website files on multiple servers and distribute them to your visitors from the server nearest to them
4/ We’ve changed these settings on your site https://prnt.sc/K0cTRvirxs_t to https://prnt.sc/wAsO2bm61KKf (Theme options > Speed optimization).
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Good morning,
I am using only W3 total Cache plugin and i have enabled cloudflare which provides cdn also. Maybe i need to deactivate some settings for the plugin to work properly.
But the speed is much worse since the changes you made. Now everything needs more 10s to load.
Hello, Alex,
“since the changes you made” – what exactly?
Please update the theme and Core plugin – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/
Then record a video of your actions and the speed on your site, please.
Thank you for your cooperation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Since the updates of the theme and xstore core. I am not sure what exactly caused this change. The page was loading in maximum 2seconds. Now it takes more than 10s and the main menu which uses static blocks is buffering for some time until it is displayed correctly.
Hello, Alex,
Thank you very much for the video.
We’ve removed menus from Ajaxify Menus in Theme Options > Speed Optimization. Please check the menu loading now.
If you do not plan to edit menu content in the near future, enable Menu cache via Theme Options > Speed Optimization.
About the site speed, we would recommend you contact your hosting provider – to “Reduce initial server response time” https://prnt.sc/bpKGQiNIUu6k https://gtmetrix.com/
This tester https://tools.pingdom.com/ shows – https://prnt.sc/EGuSHmpMZmwS , so please read next articles – https://kinsta.com/blog/make-fewer-http-requests/ https://wpengine.com/resources/how-to-enable-gzip-compression-for-wordpress/ https://wpastra.com/add-expires-headers/
