For some reason it seems that there have been created two Child Themes.
We currently use the one of them but they seem different.
Can we safely delete the other unused child theme? Is there a difference between the two?
The one child theme is called “Main theme” (the one that is currently active) and the other one is called “Xstore Child”.

    Hello, @PanosN,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

It’s generally safe to delete an unused child theme, but there are a few things you should consider before doing so:

1/ Backup: Before making any changes, it’s always a good idea to backup your website. This includes both the files and the database. If something goes wrong, you can always restore from the backup.

2/ Check Dependencies: Ensure that the child theme you plan to delete is not being used by any customizations or features on your website.

Regarding the “Main theme” and “Xstore Child” child themes, it’s hard to provide specific advice without knowing the details of your WordPress setup and the themes in question. The names suggest that “Xstore Child” is a child theme for the “Xstore” theme, while “Main theme” may be the active theme. Make sure that the active theme (in your case, “Main theme”) is the one you want to keep, and that it contains all the necessary customizations and settings.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

    Best Regards,
