Hi
please check the private area
Hello,
I’m not sure that clearly understand your request. So, let’s clarify:
1) Do you have some problems with theme activation? Provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check it in more detail
2) Do you use out of date version of XStore theme and need to update that? We would recommend you to create staging site (full copy of the production site you have) and provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your staging site. We’ll update theme and all the bundled plugins there. You’ll check if everything is ok. If yes then we’ll update production site. In case you find any issues we’ll be able to fix them and update production site only after that. It’s the safest way to update theme from 7.x to 8.x version.

Hello,
Thank you. What about FTP access to your staging site?

Hello,
I see that you provided only WP Dashboard access. I don’t see FTP access. If you don’t know what FTP access is then contact your hosting provider to get that information.

Hello,
In case we use file manager and any fatal error appears during update we’ll be blocked and the site will be down. We need FTP. I would not ask for FTP if I could use backend editor, you need to understand that.
We need FTP access to your wp-content folder at least.

Hello,
As I assumed the fatal error happened https://prnt.sc/26ifwuy And we can’t proceed with the plugins update to fix that error. So, we need FTP access to wp-content folder at least of your staging site.

Hello,
It’s the same as on the staging site. You checked the staging site and told us that everything is ok there. So, what is different on the production site than on the staging site? Provide screenshot, please.

some css is lost, i’ll fix it by myself, but stay here if i need something
Hello,
You had to check the staging site carefully before the production site update to avoid such issue! Keep in mind that next time.
Where did you place your custom CSS? Use either child theme style.css or Theme Options > Custom CSS areas and make sure that your code has higher priority than the default one. Use additional classes to prioritize your code.
Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
