Whenever there is an update for a plugin, theme, or WordPress itself, the homepage experiences layout errors or functionality issues, requiring me to spend a significant amount of time fixing them. Sometimes, updating resolves the issues, but this time, it didn’t work, and I have to manually fix the theme once again. This time, the theme got messed up quite a lot, and I’m unable to fix it. What could be causing this?

    Hello Leo,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

    Updates should not cause problems.
If you face a problem not the first time, did you ask your hosting provider to create a full site backup before the update or did you create a backup by yourself? The backup can help to restore the site in case something goes wrong.

Do you use a child theme? Was the child theme activated before the update but now you activated the parent theme?

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
