Legenda not reflecting pricing updates - by sirlothos

    My client is telling me that when she updates pricing , it does not reflect on the site. It only shows the “new” updated pricing when you click on “add to cart”or when you add it to the cart.

    So in other words, a client comes to the site, likes a product and he decides the price is good, when he adds it to the cart the price changes and pisses him off instantly.

    For some reason the changes do not reflect immediately on the site, it is easy to reproduce the error. You have access to the site. the same thing happen with the address, when I changed it, it took several days to show the updated office.

    Please don;t ask me for anymore screenshots, I really need you to solve this issue ASAP as we are getting more and more customers frustrated with the site.

    Hello,

    You’re using very old theme version.
    Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

    And will it change my current settings or affect the site in any way after I make the update?

    Hi There, I updated everything.
    You can see in the screenshot, that the price showing for Ultracavitacion is $3,800 when the actual price I updated is $3,799, so it is still not updating.

    The real price show up after you add it to cart, then you see $3,799. This is creating a huge problem for us. Please Help ASAP.

    We need to be able to reflect pricing instantly. otherwise custemers think one price are being charged a different one.

    Ok, I created a new FTP account for you. Please review the issue ASAP and let me know how can we get this fix.

    Some computers show the updated pricing, some don’t, some show it one day later.

    Obiously, we can’t ask our clients to clear their computer cache everytime they visit the site. The site should and MUST reflect the updated pricing as it is on the admin.

    In many cases, people are seeing the old price and when they add it to the cart, they see the updated price and are complaining.

    Hope you can understand the urgency of this. Thank you!

    If some computers show correct price then the problem is with browser cache.
    Unfortunately we can’t affect this issue.

    No computer reflects the correct price. There is a Clear bug with your woo commerce not updating and reflecting pricing. You can’t just wash your hands like that. Please help me fix the bug.

    This is a proiblem with your template and your woocommerce platform.

    Also, if you go into the worpress admin account, “appeareance / Personalize / ” the preview shown on has the right pricing on it. Maybe there is a setting that is preventing the new prices to be reflected on the Front page.

    Hello,

    I changed price for product “ULTRACAVITACIÓN U3 LIPOMODEL” from 4000 to 3999. The price was changed successfully and updated on the site:

    Then I changed it back to 4000 and now price is also updated:
    http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/15/1016/h_1444980008_6475318_e4342b3b61.png .

    Please take our apologies but we can’t replicate the issue you described. We changed price many times and every time it was updated on the site.

    Try to activate default WordPress theme (Twenty Fifteen) and check your issue there.

    I changes the template to the native one but the browser still reads the Legenda one. Any help please?

    Hello,

    This means you have browser cache, sorry but we can’t do anything here. The problem is local and you have to fix it yourself.

    It is not local Eva, If I change the template you may see it but a lot of other perople, including me with different browsers don’t see it. and that is a big problem.

    We’re trying to help but we can’t reproduce the issues you described. I switched to other theme and it was changed successfully.
    We can only recommend you to update the theme to the latest version 2.9.2 and update plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
