    Hello,

i have a problem: i set my correct product image (both catalog and single product) dimensions in theme options and even in woo commerce setting, but the images are still too big than what i set.

    Can you please help?

The website is about wines, so the images will be narrow, about 108×200 px.

Same issue on the product sidebar, the products on widget have images cropped, how can i control that?

    thanks

    Hello,

Go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display and change the settings. Use hard crop if you want to crop images. Then regenerate thumbnails https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Hello,

Please provide us with wp-admin and FTP credentials in Private Content.
Also, on our demo we use images with sizes 2,160px × 2,349px, but in your case they should be at least 600px. Please try to add image with the bigger size.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hello,

In this case, you should disable zoom effect in Theme Options > Single Product Page.
I have done that. Please check your site now.

    Hello,

i don’t understand what the problem was.
Also the 2 products on the shop have 2 different image sizes, they should be the same 108×200, but they are different. Can you please check?

I’d like to know because i need to try different sizes before deciding what dimensions suite my catalogue and product page better, and i also need to have the magnify effect on photo on mouse over.

EDIT: i added few more products, each with different images, and each image has its own dimension even if the set dimensions are 135×250 and forced crop.

I do not understand if i have to edit dimensions in woocommerce settings, or in Legenda settings.
I did both but it still does what he wants without a logic rule.

    Let me know please.

    Hello,

As I see your original images have different dimensions. You should upload all images with similar sizes and in higher resolution.

I don’t understand: if i set single product image dimensions in woo commerce settings, those dimension will be applied to all products even if each product has different images dimensions! This is how it works in every template, and woo commerce website.

And other thing, i have to set this setting just in woo commerce settings, or in the Legenda options? Both catalogue images and product images has image dimensions settings in the template options.

    let me know please.

    Hello,

You can also change image sizes for catalog products and thumbnails in Theme Options > Products Page Layout http://prnt.sc/d310j5 , http://prnt.sc/d310zv .
As for single product page you have to edit the file legenda/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php http://prntscr.com/d31739 . We’ll fix it in the next theme update.
Please take our apologies for inconveniences.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

You need disable 3rd-party plugins that you’re using for zoom effect and you’ll get magnifier like in the demo.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Ok thanks a lot.

I need to upload images with large dimensions to have a nice zoom effect, but if i load a big image the main product image will be huge and not with product image dimensions set in both theme options and woo commerce settings. We return to previous problem!!!

can you fix this in my Legenda installation? something is wrong, i just need it to be set like the demo, but something is still wrong!

Check the wine bottles in the shop, product images are different in each product, they don’t respect the image dimensions set in the options!

The problem is if i load large images, the thumbnails will be big and they are not scaled to thumbnails dimension set in theme and woo commerce settings, this is the problem!!!

All single product images must have all same dimension, but when mouse on it the zoom effect need to be good, so images have to be uploaded not with the size equal to thumbnails dimension, but with real effective dimensions. The thumbnails in each product page and in catalog like in every other wordpress theme need to be resized and cropped automatically!

    This is a big problem!

    Hello,

If you enable zoom effect then image occupies all the width of the image block (570px). So, if you use long source image it will look too high for you on single product page. Try more squared images. I have made an example for you http://prntscr.com/d5uv15 , I used image 1500x1500px. As you can see it looks fine and has a good zoom effect.

Also, it looks good for grid http://prntscr.com/d5uupr

    Regards
