Lightbox doesn't pop-up - by Porkybob

Hi,

On my website, on a single product page the lightbox box doesn’t pop up.
Have a look here :
http://www.accescrea.fr/produit/le-santon-galet-la-marchande-doeufs/

I went to WooCommerce > Settings > Products >
I enable the lightbox than save the settings but when the page refreshes the box “enable the lightbox” is unchecked again.

What can I do ?

I just realize none of pop-ups of the website works…
Just did the theme update, could it be related ?

Hello,

As I see you’re using old theme version. Please update it to 1.4 version.
Before update remove the folder “woocommerce” in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress. It will be reuploaded with new theme version.
Don’t forget to create a back up before update!

Hello,

Please try to change single image size like is described in our documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/index.html#!/woocommerce, then regenerate your thumbnails and check issue with lightbox.

I changed it and regenerated all thumbnails. The lightbox still doesn’t want to work.
One thing though, at the beginning the Search bar didn’t work either and it does now.
In Woocommerce/Products/Display, I noticed that I can’t enable the lightbox anymore. I check the box, save, “modifications saved”, but the box is actually unchecked no matter what.

Is there any kind of conflict ?

I tried to disable some plugins (we just installed basic ones, nothing about image display or lightbox) but it doesn’t change anything.
Here’s the list of installed plugins if it can be useful :

BackWup
Contact Form 7
Essential Grid
Facebook wall and social integration
Master Slider WP
Regenerate thumbnails
Revolution slider
Ultimate addons for Visual Composer
WooCommerce

Nothing really fancy here I guess.

You may try to remove following lines of code from woopress/framework/woo.php:
```
add_filter( 'woocommerce_enqueue_styles', '__return_false' );
add_filter( 'pre_option_woocommerce_enable_lightbox', 'return_no'); // Remove woocommerce prettyphoto 

function return_no($option) {
	return 'no';
}
```
Then you will be able enable default woocommerce lightbox.

Hi,

Didn’t do the last advice you gave us, since when I tried to log into the accescrea.fr/wp-admin, this error appeared :
“Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/7/d385808860/htdocs/accescrea/wp-config.php:1) in /homepages/7/d385808860/htdocs/accescrea/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1178”
