However, the Show Excerpt isnt working properly. it is enabled under post but nothing is displayed

Hello, PAC,

It is because the content of the post was created using WPBakery https://prnt.sc/QZYQgDXBfH6U
WPBakery and Elementor are page builders, so they may conflict with each other and it is not recommended to use 2 editors together.
As a workaround, we added an Excerpt for the post manually here – https://prnt.sc/rra8Tqx2V4jd , the result – https://prnt.sc/VQVtXc70b0IU
