Loading Product Image / Loco Strings - by holachicas

    Hi guys/girls! 🙂

    I have two topics that I need assistance with, but I believe they are pretty simple:

    1. When I open a product, sometimes the image is already loaded, but the loading wheel keeps showing over the image. I believe it’s because the gallery is being loaded or something, but can I simply remove the wheel?

    2. I’m using loco translate and I had no problem whatsoever to translate 99% of it. But some translations on checkout are not being made. I have tried everything I know, and still nothing with “Apply Coupon”, “Update Cart” and “Billing Details”. They Should be in portuguese:

    Apply Coupon = Aplicar Cupom
    Update Cart = Atualizar Sacola
    Billing Details = Informações de Pagamento

    Hello,

    1. You need upload product images in .jpg format http://prntscr.com/ghdq0y
    2. Please update theme http://prntscr.com/gf9p90
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/installation_upgrade
    Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files.
    Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
    You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.

    Also, update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

    After update, you just need to synchronize translation files the theme and woocommerce to get new strings.
    Before this make sure that you placed translation files into wp-content/languages/themes folder with correct name https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/ (the same for woopress theme).
    Button Sync allows you to synchronize your translation file with updated pot file. It means if we made any changes in template files that may affect transaltion or we added new string for the translation and you updated theme you need to synchronize your translation with updated files. Only after synchronization you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. You may lose only strings that were changed.
    Also, don’t forget to backup all the files before any update.

    Thank you, Rose! I just finished backing up. If I delete the woocommerce folder in the theme folder, I won’t lose any product data, right?

    I’m already taking care of the pictures in png, thanks for the tip!
